Natural Wonders in Days of Old
Day 1- Arrival Vientiane
We'll
meet you at the airport or friendship bridge,
then start a city tour. Sites you'll visit in
Vientiane include Wat Simuang (the city pillar
temple), Wat Sisaket (the original Vientiane temple
style), Ho Phrakeo (the former house of the Emerald
Buddha image, which now rests in Bangkok), Patousay
(the victory gate), That Luang stupa (the most
impressive stupa in Laos) and Morning market.
You'll have lunch at Kualao restaurant.

Day 2 -
Vientiane - Vang Vieng
You'll
take a drive of about 150 Km to Vang Vieng, a
small town surrounded by limestone, caves and
rivers. It's a scenic drive. Along the way, you'll
visit Vang Xang, the archeological site dated
back to the 11th century. Next, you'll arrival
in Vang Vieng and check in at hotel. In the afternoon,
you'll visit Tamchang cave and Tam Poukham cave.

Day
3 - Vang Vieng - Xieng Khuang
At
09:00 AM, you'll depart through the mountainous
road for Phonsavan. Along the way, you'll visit
the hill tribes including the Laotheung and Hmong
hill tribes. You'll have lunch at Sala Phoukhoun.
You'll arrival at Phonsavan at late afternoon
and visit the first main site of the mysterious
plain of jar. These stone jars are believed to
be around 2000 years-old. Very little is actually
know about these jar or how they were used. Let
your mind wander as you feet wonder through this
amazing archeological site.

Day
4 - Xieng Khuang
Continue
to explore the 2,000 years-old jars at the plain
of jars site.

Day
5 - Xieng Khuang - Luang Prabang
You'll
visit local market, then start driving through
Luang Prabang. You'll have lunch at Pakhuaymixay
restaurant. Afternoon visit this former capital
city of the Lanexang Kingdom including Wat Visoon
temple and Phousi hill.

Day 6 -
Luang Prabang - Pak Ou cave
In
the morning, we'll visit the former royal palace
of the last king where the royal utensil, uniform,
foreign gift, and other various precious Buddha
images are shown. Visit Wat Xiengthong, the original
Luang Prabang temple style. Excursion by boat
up the great Mekong River to visit Pak Ou holy
cave cave fulfilled with thousand of Buddha images
donated by devoted villagers. Have lunch at Ban
Pak Ou village.

Day
7 - Luang Prabang - Departure
Leave
hotel at 6:00 AM to visit monk arm collection
site. At 07:00 AM, you'll visit the fresh food
market. You'll return to your hotel for breakfast
7:45 AM. Freetime until the time for departure
flight to Bangkok.
