 Arrive
in Luang Prabang and meet your guide after border
formalities at the airport.
Transfer
to your hotel (See your choices at the bottom
of this page). Visit sites around town on foot,
including several of the World Heritage
temples, the central market area, Phu
Sii Hill and temple where you can enjoy
the sunset.
Dinner
will be at a local restaurant, after which you
may enjoy walking the Hmong night market.

After
an early breakfast, meet your guide to enjoy
one of the following activities:
Kayaking:
Many rivers in the area give us many options.
Determine your ability level with our staff
and choose a river accordingly.
Boat to Waterfall
and Walk up a cascading creek of icy cold water:
Travel by local boat to a cascading waterfall
of a dozen levels. You can climb the calcified
rock from level to level.  Once
at the top, another hour's walk brings us back
to the river for the boatride back into town.
Note that water level depends on time of year
and local conditions.
Mountian Biking:
there are many excellent biking routes in the
area - both on and off road, so you can explore
with your guide (from easy to difficult according
to your needs).
Rock Climbing:
Using local boats and drivers, we will bring
you to a variety of climbing routes on either
side of the Mekong river, some of which enjoy
the extra luxury of being shaded much of the
day. Your guide and our staff will assist in
all aspects of the climb.
Walking / Trekking:
Your guide can suggest several
walking routes based from the resort to suit
your fitness and comfort level.
 Elephant
Center Training and Elephant Trekking:
Spend the afternoon with mahouts from the project
and your guide learning about the lives of these
giant pachyderms and the hurdles they face in
the modern world.
Return to the World Heritage town of Luang Prabang
to your hotel, and for dinner at a local restaurant.

Luang Prabang
- Tham Ting Buddha Caves - flight out
After
breakfast drive to visit the famousPak
Ou (Tham Ting) caves at the mouth of
the Ou River. Return to Luang Prabang by car,
check out of the hotel and relax until your
guided transfer to the airport for your onward
flight.
